The Charities

The Infinity and Ovation crew values the work undertaken by charities that benefit and help our community grow and thrive.

Together with our media partner, Hour Detroit Magazine, we’ve played a key role in raising visibility, and much appreciated funds, for several new, emerging, and existing Metro Detroit-based nonprofits during our Summer Cruise Series season.

This year, we are partnering with organizations that touch a variety of causes from advocacy groups to cultural institutions.

While we earmark a portion of each ticket price to benefit these worthy groups, we also hope you’ll join us in the spirit of giving by making an additional donation. There’s easy to follow instructions when you purchase your tickets.

Is there a dress code for the cruises?

We encourage you to dress according to each unique theme. Please keep in mind denim of any sort (jeans, shorts or jackets) is prohibited as well as sneakers, tank tops and baseball hats. You may want to bring along a wrap or a jacket in case the cruise gets breezy.

The health and safety of our guests and that of our team members remain our top priority.

Do you have storage for personal items?

Unfortunately, we do not have any lockers or private areas to securely store personal items. Each guests is responsible for all personal items.

In the case of inclement weather, 
what can I expect?

We host each cruise rain or shine. In the event weather prevents us to cruise, the yacht will stay docked but the fun and festivities will continue as planned.

Do you accommodate wheelchairs?

We pride ourselves on accessibility, and welcome all guests with non-motorized wheelchairs. However, due to seasonal water levels, some cruises may not be able to accommodate any style of wheelchairs. Please call prior to purchasing tickets.  Each guest will need their own individual ticket, even if you are assisting someone in a wheelchair during the night.  Please note, any cruise leaving from our South Dock (specified in each individual cruise page) cannot accommodate wheelchairs due to boarding area constraints. Guests with issues using stairs should select another cruise option that does not depart from the South Dock.

Is there onsite parking?

SP+ Parking (Center Garage) is located across the street from our dock on the corner of Atwater St. and Bates St. (130 East Atwater St. Detroit, MI 48226)
Parking in the lot costs $31 and is not validated by us unfortunately.

Are there menu options for those with dietary restrictions?

All menus feature gluten-free and nut-free items. For more information on specific cruise menus, please reach out to us at Info@SummerCruiseSeries.com. 

How do I purchase group tickets?

Our ticketing system allows 10 tickets per transaction. If you need assistance with tickets quantities over 20 please email us at Info@SummerCruiseSeries.com.

How does seating work?

There is ample seating available throughout our Ovation Yacht. However, since our Summer Cruise Series events are strolling style with entertainment, chef-attended dinner stations, and mixing and mingling, there is no assigned seating. All seating is first come, first serve. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you a seat. If having a seat is important to you, we recommend purchasing a VIP Captain’s Club ticket, which includes early boarding, giving you a chance to find a seat before those in general boarding.

Is there assigned seating on the yacht?

The Ovation offers a strolling-style experience across three levels, with multiple dining and entertainment areas.  Seating on the yacht is open and not assigned. All seating is first come, first served. We also have lounge seating and high tops which can be used for dining.  We recommend arriving early for the best selection.  Seating does open up throughout the evening as the dance floor ignites.
